My life is kind of boring recently--insofar as it is watching things, teaching people mahjong, abusing photoshop and the like. And writing.  I think if I can get my "bible"/outline/dossiers/material for the story that's floating around in my head together before November, I may take up essandem's suggestion and start scripting as much as I can that month ( Read more... )

Man, this editing thing is going lighting slow. Starts and stops. Gaps covered by lucky finds and last minute flourishes. Every single last one of us knows how to frame a shot, make it look pretty, dynamic, and how to start throwing together basic lighting, and we all work best in twos and threes.
